Ta Da!!!! Chloe’s completed butterfly vanity~we LOVE it!!!!!! The perfect place for her Hello Kitty hair dryer and her all important Sweet Pea body spray (all 8 year olds need a place to primp~right?) Not bad for $20.

Use old favorite, Mod Podge to apply butterfly to table.

Oops! I forgot to take the before pic but imagine a plain solid oak drop leaf side table. All brown and sort of blah~one candle-check valspar paint in ocean breeze-check and a piece of sand paper-check. Rub candle along edges that you’d like to be “distressed” and then apply 2 coats of paint. [...]

This is an updated photo of the turquoise buffet I created from an old french provential dresser in the dining room. I am so into that eclectic cottage-y thing lately. I sort of redecarranged our dining room~painted it in Valspar “Madison Avenue” and created picture groupings on either side of the buffet [...]
