Hi There! I’m Elise and I’m a Mom, a wife and a lover of all things aqua, pink, vintage or antique. I have sort of an unhealthy obsession with decorating my home (much to my husband’s dismay), painting walls, rescuing and refinishing old furniture. I would describe our home as traditional eclectic with a vintage twist. I am a southern girl at heart and I love sweet tea and good coffee. My family is everything to me.
My background is in the fashion and beauty industry. I worked as a makeup artist in cosmetics through school. I attended art school as a design major but after 2 years decided that I wanted to be a photo stylist so I left school and worked as a stylist for several years until I married my high school sweetheart and we had our first child.
I’ve been interested in fashion and makeup my entire life and it’s still a passion of mine. It seems that anything girly and creative has always been my thing. I started making handmade jewelry 2 years ago as a hobby and a creative outlet and it became a small business for me. It’s great because I have a jewelry studio in my house and it allows me to work from home and be with my kids/family but do what I love at the same time.
This poor little blog hasn’t gotten enough love in recent years so I decided that I would try to make this blog interesting and fun and a place that I can share my favorite things with you. Everything from my new jewelry designs to decorating,thrifting,refinishing furniture to cosmetic reviews DIY or crafts. So here we go…
